Programs & Services
Firewood Distribution
We provide free firewood to over 75 households each winter, ensuring that at-risk residents have the necessary heat to survive the cold months. Each household receives firewood in the form of cords, cut into lengths suitable for fireplaces or wood stoves.
Community Engagement
We work with local businesses and public land agencies to support fire prevention efforts and promote healthier forests. Our relationships with the San Juan National Forest Service and other organizations enable us to source and process large log piles into usable firewood.
Data Collection and Impact Assessment
Our robust data collection efforts help us measure and demonstrate our impact, refine our programs, and ensure continuous improvement.
Volunteer Training
We offer training programs for volunteers, focusing on safe logging practices, environmental stewardship, and community support.
